Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-26
1. Who we are and what you agree to
Replay Editor (the "Service") is a browser-based video editor operated by RECOMPANY ("we", "us"), based in Brazil. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
These terms are in English only.
2. The Service
The Service lets you edit and export video, audio and images in your web browser. Editing and exporting run in your browser, on your device. The media files you import are not uploaded to us, except when you save a project while signed in (see section 4).
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service. We aim to give notice of changes that matter, but the Service is provided as is.
3. Your account
Your Replay Editor account is a standalone account: sign in by email or with Google. An account is needed only to save projects on our servers. You can edit and export without one.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian to subscribe or donate. Keep your sign-in details safe: you are responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your Replay Editor projects and data, including the media files saved with them, at any time inside Replay Editor. You can delete your account from your account settings (it cannot be deleted while a paid subscription is active: cancel the subscription first).
4. Your content
Your files remain yours and we claim no rights over them. Signed out, they stay in your browser and we do not receive them.
When you save a project while signed in, we store the project and the media files in it on our servers (Cloudflare R2). You give us only the permission needed to store them and give them back to you. Saved projects are for signed-in users only, within your plan limits (section 6) and kept as described in section 7. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you import, edit, save and share.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to infringe the rights of others or to break the law;
- attempt to disrupt the Service, or to bypass its limits or technical protections;
- copy or resell the Service without our written permission.
6. Plans and payments
The free plan includes all editing tools, shows ads, and allows you to save 1 project of up to 1 GB. Saved projects are stored on our servers. The subscriber plan removes ads and allows you to save 5 projects of up to 10 GB each, priced at US$4.99 per month (or €4.99 / R$ 8,99 per month depending on region).
Payments are processed by Stripe, our only payment processor. A subscription renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep the subscriber benefits until the end of the period you have paid for. There is no free trial.
Payments are not refundable, except where mandatory law (for example the Brazilian Consumer Defence Code) gives you a right to a refund. Prices depend on region (US dollars, Euro, or Brazilian Real). If we change the price, the new price applies only to later periods and we will tell you before it applies.
7. Saved projects when a subscription ends
When a subscription ends, you have 30 days to open, export or delete the projects that exceed the free plan limits (1 project of up to 1 GB). After those 30 days we delete the projects that are still over the limits. Projects within the free limits stay until you delete them or your account.
8. Donations
You can donate any amount of US$1 or more. Donations are voluntary, are processed by Stripe, and give no extra features or rights. Donations are not refundable, except where mandatory law says otherwise.
9. Ads
The free plan displays ads served by Google AdSense. An active subscription removes them. We do not control the content of third-party ads. See the privacy policy for how ads use data.
10. No warranty and limit of liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Browsers differ, so an export may fail or look different on some devices. Keep a copy of your original files.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost files, lost projects or indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the Brazilian Consumer Defence Code or other mandatory law gives you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and disputes are handled by the Brazilian courts. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the court of the place where you live, as Brazilian law allows.
